Old postcards are sometimes poorly produced and grainy, I've done my best to scan them. Please click thumbnails for full size picture. Dates are from the card or my estimate (where possible).

A walk along the sea wall to the east of Totland brings you to Colwell Bay.

'This fast growing resort is now practically a suburb of Totland Bay. Here good bathing is to be had (charge: 6d., 12 tickets 5s., children 3d.). The sands are firm and stretch for a long way , and those who like an unsophisticated and out-of-the-world spot may give this place a trial.'
